Marine View Christian Preschool exists to create an environment in which children are spiritually nurtured, academically prepared for kindergarten, and allowed to grow and develop in their social interactions with others.

“Marine View Christian Preschool has become my son's favorite place to go.  The director and all of the staff make school a fun, warm, and welcoming environment.  MVPC has created a special community for my family and we are so happy to be a part of this school.  

My only objectives for my son's school year was to learn to be comfortable in a school setting and work on social skills like taking turns and playing with friends.  All of those goals have been met and so much more.  I am so impressed by how comfortable the teachers make my son feel, he used to be very shy and avoid interactions with new people.  But now, every morning he is running through the hallways excited to see his friends and his teachers.  

I love how much my son is learning and how much he has blossomed in a matter of months.  The teachers keep the kids engaged and are always teaching new material to the kids.  I really feel the curriculum focuses on skills they need for elementary school even in their beginners class.  They also have so many fun activities for like visits from the local firestation and the police department.  Not only is this fun for the kids but really important for little ones to learn to not be frightened if they see ever see a fireman in his uniform or a police car with its sirens on driving down the street.  

One thing I especially love about MVCP is the communication!  Every day I receive a written report about my son's day.  It makes me feel at ease when I see this report knowing if my son went to the bathroom or what he ate for snack.  It also is a great way to have a conversation after school about how his day was.  The director of the school and the teachers are also really open to any feedback or concerns that you might have.  I know as a parent its so nice if you can talk openly about how you're feeling regarding your child's education.  

We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful school in our community that not only focuses on education but also gives its students a safe and happy environment.  I know my son is loved at school just like he is at home and as parent I couldn't ask for more.”

Some preschools are organized and well run, some are warm and nurturing, some educate children instead of just watching them, but until MVCP I had never found a preschool that did all three. Aly and the entire faculty provide an environment that feels like a family.
